Mykeah Simpson is an aspiring bestselling author, public speaker, and an advocate of the disability community. Mykeah has the desire to publish many books to assist with bettering the lives of those whom may cross her path. After obtaining her GED at FootHills Adult School, she went on to Grossmont College to study Communications. Mykeah strives to bettering the community where she grew up. After the publication of her first book Broken But Healed, she became a public speaker. Gaining speaking engagements in the community she once lived and surrounding areas, soon led her to speaking at local hospitals to help the disabled community. She then received gigs at major schools, such as SDSU and UCSD. Throughout her works she was awarded by community leaders for good service.

Broken But Healed Is another form of Mykeah giving others a push towards hope. Revealing that we can embrace obstacles knowing that in the end victory is ours.
